Food Truck Space

  • To ensure a successful, family-friendly event, all vendors must review and adhere to the following policies.

    Family-Friendly Product Standards

    • Vendors must ensure all items displayed or sold are family-friendly and suitable for a school environment. Items must be respectful of diverse backgrounds and sensibilities.
    • The following items are strictly prohibited:
    • Weapons, weapon replicas, and items with violent imagery
    • Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and related paraphernalia
    • Vaping products or materials promoting smoking
    • Sexual content, imagery, or references, and any items with offensive or inappropriate language
    • Inflammatory, political, or offensive materials
    • Any items that conflict with New Caney ISD policies. Vendors should refer to New Caney ISD policies (https://www.newcaneyisd.org/) for additional guidelines.

    Booth Setup and Cleanup

    • Vendors are responsible for setting up their booths within their reserved space, including any display furniture, signage, or decoration they wish to bring.
    • Vendors are required to remove all materials, displays, and trash from their booth space at the end of the event. Spaces must be left as they were found.
    • Limited power availability; power access is not guaranteed. Vendors requiring power should plan accordingly and bring backup power solutions if necessary.

    Cancellation and Refund Policy

    • Vendors may cancel their booth reservation up to two weeks before the event date to receive a 50% refund back to the original payment method. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Crippen PTO.
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within two weeks of the event date.

    Vendor Conduct

    • Vendors are expected to maintain a positive, respectful demeanor with all event attendees, school staff, and other vendors.
    • Sales must be conducted in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Vendors must remain within their designated space and should avoid obstructing neighboring booths or walkways.

    Compliance with School Policies

    • All vendors are required to comply with Crippen Elementary and New Caney ISD policies. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

    Inclement Weather

    • In the event of inclement weather, outdoor activities and vendor booths will be relocated indoors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. The Crippen PTO will provide timely guidance to facilitate a smooth transition.

    Weather and Liability

    • This event will proceed rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, the Crippen PTO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule.
    • Vendors participate at their own risk. The Crippen PTO, Crippen Elementary, and New Caney ISD are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property or injuries incurred during the event.
